Embedded Software Engineer I or II, DOE

Summary:  Designs, modifies, develops, writes, tests and debugs embedded software applications and systems that are scalable and optimized. Systems include but are not limited to embedded software that will be controlling telemetry radios, GPS receivers, lasers, laser detectors, and other various Military Training equipment.

Responsibilities/Skills: 

Required Education/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years experience in electronics, electrical design or logic required.  4+ years experience with an Associates degree will substitute.  Proven working experience in software engineering.  Proficiency in C and C++ programming language required.  Proficiency with Linux, especially Yocto, for embedded devices required.  Solid experience in embedded software design with preemptive and multitasking operating systems. Understanding of microprocessors, microcontrollers, serial and parallel bus interfaces.  Strong documentation and writing skills.  Ability to obtain Security Clearance required.  Ability to travel may be required.

Contract Administrator II or III, DOE

Summary:  Responsible for administration of contracts and subcontracts.  Includes daily interaction with customers, subcontractors and program management team. Helps to review cost proposals and contracts for compliance to procurement laws and regulations, as well as internal policy/procedures and system requirements.  Works closely with Program Management and Finance to ensure timely invoicing. Works closely with Program Managers and Management to achieve contract schedules, cost objectives and other performance obligations.  Administers contracts, subcontracts and agreements to ensure effective and compliant performance during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle.  Handles export control compliance and issues.

Required Education/Skills: Bachelors degree in business, accounting preferred. 5+ years of experience with contracting, compliance or finance, preferably in US government contracts. General knowledge of FAR/DFAR preferred. Knowledge of the development of costing proposals that meet government requirements. Proven problem solving and negotiation skills. Able to work independently with general supervision. Able to build positive working relationships with customers and team members. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Salary Range:  $59,503 - $104,130/Year DOE

Program Manager II or III, DOE

Summary:  Works with VP and management to develop project requirements and achieve corporate goals within schedule and budget limitations.  Interacts with production, engineering, vendors, subcontractors, contractors and the customer.  Handles medium and some large programs.  Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required. 

Responsibilities/Skills: 

Required Education/Skills: 4+ Years of DoD Program Management experience required, leading multidisciplinary design teams. Prior Military Service and 8+ years of engineering experience in electrical, software or mechanical strongly preferred.  Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred. Excellent communications and organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Project preferred. Excellent analytical skills for reviewing costs and preparing budget reports. Must be able to obtain a Secret Level Security Clearance.

Salary Range:  $94,379 - $165,163/Year DOE
